Thrilled to be on the Best List 2022 – Auserlesen – from the Youth Jury Landshut with my book Future Fairy Tales. “It’s a collection of stories that shows that fairy tales and the subjects they deal with have lost none of their relevance,” writes the youth jury, summing it up with: “Futuristic fairy tales embedded in a brilliant fantasy frame story.”

The list also functions as the nomination list for the Landshuter Teen Book Prize. Beginning in January school classes, grades 7-10, have the opportunity to read these books in class and then rate them. In the fall, the winners will be announced at a gala reception sponsored by the mayor’s office. Wish me luck!
